Jason Sudeikis and Flavor Flav took the stage to perform “Bring the Noise” by Public Enemy at a Kansas City concert with various celebrities.
“Weird Al” Yankovic and Will Forte sang Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!” during Jason Sudeikis’ Thundergong! benefit show.
Yankovic, who usually adds his own twist to popular songs, followed Forte’s suggestion to sing the song without changing it.
“You are known for taking current songs and changing the lyrics around, but what if we sang a song right now that’s current where we didn’t change the lyrics?” Forte said.
“Not change the lyrics? What a novel concept, that’s a great idea. Let’s do it,” Yankovic responded.
They performed the song just like the original, with dance moves and all.
Besides Yankovic and Forte, Flavor Flav surprised everyone by teaming up with Sudeikis to sing a mix of Public Enemy and Anthrax’s hit, supporting the Steps of Faith Foundation, which helps amputees get prosthetic limbs.
Last year’s event was memorable too, with Sudeikis and Hannah Waddington singing “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, and joining other actors to cover B-52’s “Love Shack.”
