Weeknd Debuts ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Songs in Sao Paulo

Playboi Carti and Anitta Join The Weeknd in Brazil

The Weeknd started the Hurry Up Tomorrow era with a special concert in São Paulo, Brazil.

At Estádio Morumbi, he performed live with Playboi Carti and Anitta, singing a new track called “São Paulo”. This event was livestreamed, letting fans watch from anywhere.

You can stream the whole concert until September 14 on YouTube:

In the show, he sang new songs like “Dancing in the Flames,” “Wake Me Up,” “Regular,” and “Runway.” He also brought back two unreleased tracks he played at a Mike Dean concert in March: “Take Me Back to LA” and his version of “In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song)” from Eraserhead. This time, the Lynch song ended the concert.

We love when artists bring something fresh and unexpected to their performances.

Teasers for the upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow, which completes a trilogy including After Hours and Dawn FM, started coming out in July. A trailer showed clips of two new songs. Another teaser named “Unprepared Certainty…” came out in August.

The Weeknd has mentioned that this album will be his last using the name “The Weeknd.” On Saturday, he shared the cover art for the album but hasn’t given a release date yet. You can preorder it now.
