Travis Barker’s Surprise Twitch Jam Session
Travis Barker hopped onto Kai Cenat’s endless “subathon” and drummed to some Blink-182 classics alongside tracks by Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott.
For weeks, Cenat has been running his nonstop “Mafiathon 2” on Twitch, aiming to break the record for most paid subscribers, with a portion of the earnings going to charity. Big names like Snoop Dogg, Glorilla, and Lil Uzi Vert have joined in, and now Barker added to the excitement by marking another subscriber milestone with his appearance.
Barker made his entrance sporting a Marshmello mask, introduced by TikToker Leaks World (who was pretending to be Miles Morales), while Cenat was still catching some z’s. The moment Barker started drumming, Cenat jumped out of bed and quickly got into the groove.
He played along with “Fried (She a Vibe)” by Future and Metro Boomin and Travis Scott’s “Fe!n” featuring Playboi Carti. Barker also went for some nostalgic vibes, pounding the drums to “Dammit” and “All the Small Things” from Blink-182. Barker has been globetrotting with Blink-182 over the last year, promoting their album “One More Time.” The album came out last October, and it reunited him and Mark Hoppus with Tom DeLonge, who had stepped away from the band in 2015.
Fans love seeing such creative collabs happen live.
Recently, Barker helped create a track called “Lonely Road” with MGK and Jelly Roll, which includes bits from John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The trio showed off this tune on “The Tonight Show” just last month.
