Tierra Whack Performs Moovies and Shower Song on Fallon

Performing on The Tonight Show

Tierra Whack performed "Moovies" and "Shower Song" on The Tonight Show with a live band.

Debut Album and Collaborations

Both tracks are part of her debut album, World Wide Whack, released in March. She worked with several producers like J Melodic, Simms, and Nick Verruto for this LP.

Whack first gained attention in 2018 with her mixtape Whack World. Since then, she’s collaborated with Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Chief Keef, Melanie Martinez, and even joined Lil Yachty for Rolling Stone’s "Musicians on Musicians" in 2023.

Fans really admire how she’s making waves in the music industry.

Pride in Her Work

“I just want to make music and art that I’m proud of,” Whack shared. “That’s it. Period. I can name ‘Caught Out There’ by Kelis: I love that song. I wish I made it. If I can make a song and be so proud of it, like I can’t believe that I made it, I’m good. That’s all I need. I just want to be proud of my own art.”

She added that her career is about staying true to herself and having fun while doing what she loves.

Upcoming Festival

Whack will co-headline the Carolinadaze Music & Arts Festival Series with Janelle Monáe on Sept. 14. The event, organized by Common Cause North Carolina, will be held at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh and feature artists like Moses Sumney, Lute, and Helado Negro.
