Surprise Guest at Taylor’s Concert
During a concert in New Orleans, Taylor Swift surprised everyone by inviting Sabrina Carpenter on stage.
Taylor had an idea to sing a song that wasn’t hers, one she adored, and she wanted the crowd to join her. She said it would be fun if 65,000 people got the song stuck in their heads too.
Swift picked up her guitar and strummed some lines from “Espresso,” a song by Sabrina. Then she paused, expressing her pride for Sabrina.
We think it’s cool when famous people support each other like this.
Next, Taylor grabbed her phone and called Sabrina, letting the audience hear. She excitedly told her friend about singing “Espresso” with the crowd. Sabrina was actually in the venue, which was a surprise!
After chatting a bit, Sabrina came out and sang with Taylor. They performed a mix of “Espresso,” “Is It Over Now?” and “Please Please Please.”
Sabrina was in New Orleans for Taylor’s show in between her own tour stops. Before her solo tour took off, she was part of Taylor’s tour in Latin America, Australia, and Singapore, right after “Espresso” became popular.
The two had sung together before. Back in February 2024, Sabrina joined Taylor for a blend of “White Horse” and “Coney Island” during another Surprise Songs set.
