Taylor Swift’s Heartfelt Meeting
Taylor Swift recently met two survivors of the Southport stabbing backstage in London, Rolling Stone confirmed.
During this meet-and-greet, Swift and her mom, Andrea, welcomed the fans. One of them had a bandage on her arm with the lyric “You drew stars around my scars” from “Cardigan.” Sami Foster shared photos of this meeting on TikTok, which went viral.
“The biggest thank you to @TaylorSwift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all,†Foster posted on TikTok.
Last month, at a Swift-themed kids’ yoga and dance workshop in Southport, there was a tragic stabbing. Three girls lost their lives: Bebe King, 6; Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7; and Alice Aguiar, 9. Others, including adults, were badly hurt.
Afterwards, a 17-year-old named Axel Rudakubana got arrested and faced multiple charges, including three counts of murder. Initially, false rumors about the attacker’s identity spread, causing far-right protests in Southport and other UK areas.
Swift expressed her shock and sadness online after the attack, writing, “I’m just completely in shock… These were just little kids at a dance class.â€
We can feel the pain and sorrow for these innocent children.
She will end her London performances with two final shows on August 19 and 20 before continuing her North American tour in October and November.
