Taylor Swift Celebrates Female Olympic Athletes in Moving Promo Video

Three American Stars Shine in Paris

Taylor Swift celebrated some of Team U.S.A.’s top athletes in a new video released on Saturday.

The video, backed by her song “Style,” honors Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky, and Sha’Carri Richardson, all of whom have won medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics. “Never be afraid to show them who you are,” Taylor says as clips of the athletes play. “Especially when the whole world is watching. Because there’s no one way to be the best. No one way to inspire everyone else who will someday follow. You do what you love. You love what you do. You believe in your style, whatever it is.”

She ends the video with, “Katie, Sha’Carri, and Simone. Three American stars, three different visions of greatness, tonight in Paris.”

Just a day earlier, Biles wowed everyone by reclaiming the all-around Gymnastics title, performing to Swift’s song “Ready for It?”.

I think it’s cool how music and sports come together like this.

This video also adds Swift to the list of musicians supporting the Paris Olympics. Lady Gaga and Celine Dion performed at the opening ceremony earlier this month, while Beyoncé introduced Team U.S.A. competitors in her own promo video.
