Soundgarden Members Reunite at Seattle Benefit Concert

The band members of Soundgarden got together for a special event in Seattle.

Nudedragons Take the Stage

Matt, Kim, and Ben, the remaining members of Soundgarden, came together under the name Nudedragons for a charity event to help Seattle Children’s Hospital. Shaina stepped in as the singer, replacing Chris, at the SMooCH benefit concert.

They played six songs from their early music days, like “Flower” and “Hunted Down.” Duff joined them for “Kickstand,” and they ended with a cover of “Kick Out the Jams” by MC5. The crowd at the sold-out Showbox also enjoyed performances by other artists, including Built to Spill’s Doug and Sebadoh’s return after five years.

Fans love when bands reunite because it brings back good memories.

A Special Reunion

This was the first time Nudedragons performed together since 2010. Back then, the trio and Chris surprised fans with a show that kicked off their reunion. Matt, Kim, and Ben last played live in 2021 when Brandi brought them on stage during her concert. Earlier, they recorded some Soundgarden hits like “Black Hole Sun” with her for a special release. They even performed together at a tribute concert for Chris in 2019.
