Sabrina Carpenter Releases Taste Music Video Featuring Jenna Ortega

Sabrina Carpenter’s New Album and Video

Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, Short n’ Sweet, has been released, along with a fierce video for her new song, "Taste," featuring Jenna Ortega.

In the video, Sabrina and Jenna are fighting over a boy, using crazy ways to try to kill each other. They use knives, shotguns, voodoo dolls, chainsaws, and even a defibrillator. In the end, they realize the real problem is the boyfriend and decide to stop fighting.

Earlier this week, Sabrina shared a sneak peek of the video. She was looking at different sharp objects before choosing one and storming into a mansion. There, she interrupts Jenna and the boyfriend in the shower, which feels a lot like the famous scene from Psycho.

Here is the link to the video on YouTube.

"Taste" is the third single from Short n’ Sweet, coming after two big summer hits, "Espresso" and "Please Please Please." The album, which is Sabrina’s sixth, features work from well-known writers and producers like Jack Antonoff and Julia Michaels.

Fans feel connected to Sabrina because she shares so much of herself.

In an interview, Sabrina said that Short n’ Sweet has some of her most honest songs ever. She believes being open about her experiences can help others feel better about their own mistakes. "I hope they find whatever they need to guide them through their life through my mistakes,” she explained. “Because I think the more open I am with my experiences, the more that other people are like, ‘Oh, maybe that’s OK that that happened to me. It’s not the end of the world.’”

Next month, Sabrina will start her tour for Short n’ Sweet. It begins on Sept. 23 in Columbus, Ohio, and ends on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles.
