Rosé appeared on Hot Ones to chat about her song “APT” and her new album, Rosie.
Spicy Wings and Disney Love
Rosé, while munching on fiery chicken wings, shared her love for Disney’s Tangled during her Hot Ones visit. She revealed it’s her top Disney film.
“I’m obsessed with that movie, I cried on my 20th rewatch,” she told Sean Evans when asked about her favorite Disney tunes. “When Flynn Rider is about to die, he says ‘You are my new dream.’ I cried so much. My favorite [Disney] song is all the songs from that movie.”
Just before tackling the hottest wing, she humorously bid farewell to her dog, Hank, and her fans, joking that the heat might be too much for her. “Hank, I love you so much, I hope I survive this, but if I don’t ever see you again, I love you, just know that,” she said. “And to my Number Ones, I hope you like the album.”
We think Rosé’s love for Tangled is really sweet.
The Album and APT
She was on the show to promote “APT” with Bruno Mars and her upcoming album Rosie, which drops on Dec. 6. The song “APT” has roots in a fun Korean drinking game.
“It’s one of many Korean drinking games, but that seemed to be the one all my friends in the studio were vibing to,” she said. “It inspired me to write a song on this because they were so addicted to it. I was really lucky to have Bruno jump on it, craziest experience of my life.”
