Post Malone F-1 Trillion Tops Billboard Chart

The Rise of Country in Pop Music

Post Malone’s country debut album, F-1 Trillion, is now the top album on Billboard, marking his first Number One since Hollywood’s Bleeding in 2019.

The album, which also leads the Hot Country chart, features big names like Morgan Wallen, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, and Jelly Roll. It launched with 250,000 units, including 213 million streams. Right behind it is Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of A Midwest Princess, while Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department is third. Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time and Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft are fourth and fifth.

This marks Post Malone’s third Number One album, following Beerbongs & Bentleys and Hollywood’s Bleeding. His latest two albums, Twelve Carat Toothache and Austin, both hit Number 2.

Fans might feel excited about this new direction for Posty, who has always enjoyed covering country songs.

Although this is his first official country album, it’s not too surprising given his love for the genre. The popularity of country music is on the rise in the streaming world, influencing many pop artists. Beyoncé even released her own country album, Cowboy Carter, and Lana Del Rey announced she’ll have one too.

Post’s lead single from F-1 Trillion, "I Had Some Help," featuring Wallen, ruled the Hot 100 for six weeks this summer. It might reclaim the top spot from Shaboozey’s "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," which has been Number One for five weeks. We’ll know for sure tomorrow.

People love seeing their favorite artists explore new sounds.
