Olivia Rodrigo Guts Tour Reaches Milestone in Philippines

Biggest Show of Her Life

Olivia Rodrigo’s dream came true when she performed for over 50,000 fans in Manila.

On Instagram, she shared her excitement, saying, “Been dreaming of this show for a whileeeee… My first time in the Philippines and also my biggest venue ever!!!!! Thank you to everyone [in] Manila for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved.”

During the concert, Olivia wore a special sash with “Miss So Filipina” on it and told everyone how thrilled she was to be there, calling them the most beautiful crowd. She even had a tank top that said “Pinoy Pride” at one point.

Fans might feel like they’re part of something special when they see artists embrace their roots.

While singing “Logical,” she noticed Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ daughter in the audience and waved, making the girl super happy as she told her mom about it.

Tickets to the event were affordable, just $30, and all the money went to Jhpiego, a group helping women and girls get healthcare. Olivia supports them through her Fund 4 Good initiative, which she started with her tour.

She shared her thoughts on Instagram after visiting Jhpiego in Manila: “I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines… Mahal kita .”

Olivia previously mentioned wanting to tour the Philippines, highlighting the kindness and support from the people. She recalled being star-struck when meeting Vanessa Hudgens, who, like her, is Filipino.
