Olivia Rodrigo Chappell Roan Duet Hot to Go LA Show Watch

Olivia Rodrigo Wraps Up U.S. Tour with a Special Guest

In her final U.S. show for the Guts World Tour, Olivia Rodrigo brought out Chappell Roan for a duet of “Hot to Go!”.

During the concert at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, Rodrigo introduced Roan as an inspiring and powerful artist she admires. Roan, dressed in a sparkly corset, told the crowd they’d be teaching a dance along with their song.

Together, they sang the catchy chorus: “H-O-T-T-O-G-O/Snap and clap and touch your toes/Raise your hands, now body roll/Dance it out, you’re hot to go.” The audience joined in on the dance moves, making it a memorable moment.

Rodrigo has supported Roan since her early days, even inviting her to open during her Sour tour in San Francisco. This year, Roan was also part of the first 24 shows on the Guts World Tour. Additionally, Roan provided backing vocals on “Lacy” and “Obsessed,” both produced by Dan Nigro.

“We all work out of the same studio and Dan [Nigro] is like ‘Are you free right now, can you come help?’“ Roan shared. She loves adding harmonies to songs and appreciates Rodrigo’s openness to collaborating.

Rodrigo was spotted at one of Roan’s shows last August. Roan mentioned she’d love to collaborate more if Rodrigo is interested but doesn’t push for it.

Throughout her tour, Rodrigo has surprised fans with various guests. Sheryl Crow joined her in Nashville, Noah Kahan and Jewel appeared in New York City, and Lily Allen performed with her in London. Tyler Childers also made an appearance during her Lexington show.

We always look forward to these special collaborations.

For her Guts tour, Rodrigo chose rising stars like Remi Wolf, PinkPantheress, Benee, Gracie Abrams, and Holly Humberstone as opening acts. These choices showcase her ability to spot new talent.

Tuesday marked Rodrigo’s fifth sold-out show in Los Angeles, celebrated with a pop-up shop. Her album Sour reached a milestone of 13 billion streams on Spotify. She will conclude her U.S. tour on August 21.

After Los Angeles, Rodrigo heads to Asia for concerts in Bangkok, Seoul, and Tokyo, followed by shows in Australia in October.

“Rodrigo cemented her position in pop culture as a generation-defining artist. As a rockstar. And as an energy-filled idol that is only just beginning her career,” Rolling Stone wrote in a review of the tour.
