Megan Thee Stallion’s Texas Video Showcases Houston Legends

Megan Thee Stallion gathered Houston hip-hop icons for her “Bigger in Texas” music video.

The video kicks off with a flashy, jewel-studded title card, reminiscent of the iconic mixtape art by Pen & Pixel. In the video, Megan cruises around Houston, meets up with Johnny Dang, and hangs out with local rap stars like Scarface, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, and Sauce Walka.

“Bigger in Texas” is the opening track of Megan’s expanded album “Megan: Act II,” which was just released. This version includes 13 fresh songs such as “Roc Steady” with Flo Milli, “Neva Play” with RM from BTS, “TYG” with Spiritbox, and a remix of her hit “Mamushi” featuring Twice.

Fans are excited to see how this new chapter unfolds.

Besides the new album, she’s preparing for her documentary “In Her Words,” premiering on Prime Video on October 31. Directed by Nneka Onuorah, the film dives into Megan’s journey, tackling her fame, loss, and the pressures she faces.

Recently on “The Tonight Show,” she talked about the documentary, revealing how it allowed her to reflect on tough times. “Through that whole period of my life I was going through some crazy stuff and I feel like a lot of people dehumanized me,” she shared. “People were chiming in on my life… So to have my story told by so many people who weren’t me? I thought it was kind of nuts.” She emphasized wanting control over her narrative and being seen beyond just her stage persona.
