Megan Thee Stallion to Host and Perform at 2024 VMAs

Hot Girl Summer Extends for Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion will host and perform at the 2024 MTV VMAs on September 11th at UBS Arena in New York.

A week after being announced as the host, Megan is also up for five awards, including Best Collaboration for “Wanna Be” with GloRilla and Best Hip-Hop for “BOA.”

She hinted at a possible performance of a new collaboration with BTS’s RM by tweeting, “X ” and BTS’s account responded with “X().” Will she reveal it at the VMAs? RM is still serving in the military in Korea.

Fans are buzzing with excitement over the potential new song.

This year has been huge for Megan, who released her first indie album, “Megan,” in June, featuring tracks like “Hiss,” “BOA,” and “Mamushi” with Yuki Chiba. She also had a successful Hot Girl Summer tour with GloRilla.

Other performers this year include Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, Rauw Alejandro, Camila Cabello, Benson Boone, GloRilla, and Lisa from Blackpink. Shawn Mendes, Karol G, LL Cool J, and Anitta will also make appearances. Katy Perry will receive the 2024 Vanguard Award and perform a medley.

Taylor Swift leads the nominations with ten nods, mostly for her “Fortnight” single with Post Malone. She’s also up for Artist of the Year, and “Fortnight” is nominated for Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and several technical categories.

MTV moved the VMAs from September 10 to 11 to avoid clashing with the presidential debate.
