Lil Durk Arrested in Florida on Murder-for-Hire Charge

Lil Durk Arrested Again

Lil Durk finds himself back in trouble, now held without bail in Florida on a serious charge involving murder-for-hire.

In Broward County, the rapper, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, is in jail due to a request by the U.S. Marshals Office. At this time, his team hasn’t commented on the situation.

Five people from Chicago, linked to him and the OTF group, were previously arrested for the same crime involving a plan to avenge a friend’s death. The incident is tied to Lul Pab’s murder in Los Angeles two years ago.

Fans often hope their favorite artists stay out of trouble.

Before this, Banks faced several legal issues from a 2019 shooting, but those charges were dropped last year. He had been accused of attempted murder and other crimes involving weapons and gang activity.

The 2019 shooting occurred near a restaurant, and police claimed video showed Banks firing a gun while driving. Afterward, he announced his intent to surrender to authorities and released a song declaring his innocence.

Recently, he celebrated being cleared of all past charges, happily stating online that he was no longer a felon and expressing gratitude to everyone who supported him.
