Liam Gallagher Fuels Oasis Reunion Rumors

Oasis Reunion Rumors

Liam Gallagher’s recent social media antics have fueled speculation about an Oasis reunion.

During the Reading Festival, whispers started that the Gallagher brothers might have ended their long feud and could soon announce 2025 concerts, including a 10-night Wembley Stadium stint. This would break Taylor Swift’s record of eight shows there. The Times U.K. suggested that industry insiders confirmed these rumors, hinting at an announcement possibly on Tuesday. When fans asked Liam about it on Twitter, he responded with “News to me” and “I know nothing.”

As the day went on, Liam seemed to tease fans more. When one fan expressed worry about the possible announcement, Liam humorously replied, “Your scared how do you think I feel.” Another fan complained about Heaton Park being a “terrible venue,” to which Liam shot back, “See you down the front you big fanny.”

Fans are excited but cautious; this isn’t the first time reunion talks have surfaced only to disappoint.

On Sunday morning, Liam kept up the hints. When asked when tour dates would be announced, he said, “Nxt Friday.” When queried about his 2025 plans, he tweeted, “World domination.” In another tweet, he dismissed the term “FORMER” and told critics to “SHUTUP” and called out their attitudes.

Noel Gallagher, on the other hand, has remained silent on the matter.

Despite many false starts over the years, these rumors come as Oasis celebrates the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely, Maybe. This milestone has seen both a reissue of the album and a tour centered on Liam.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Noel discussed the possibility of making peace with Liam, saying, “I’ve accepted now that this is never gonna go away.” He mentioned that if Liam really wanted to reunite, he should call him, which hasn’t happened. Noel painted a vivid picture of Liam as a character from Shrek, waiting with teary eyes, suggesting that until Liam makes that call, nothing will change.
