Oasis Brothers Mocked on SNL
During a recent episode of SNL, Liam Gallagher responded to a skit poking fun at his rocky relationship with his brother.
The Weekend Update segment had James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman impersonating Noel and Liam, humorously arguing over trivial things like kids. When asked by a fan on X how he felt about this portrayal, Liam simply called it “Excruciating.”
His reaction continued as he replied to more comments on X, saying, “I wouldn’t expect anything else from them” and questioning, “Are they meant to be comedians?”
Upcoming Reunion Tour
In the same sketch, Colin Jost chatted with the Gallagher duo about their upcoming reunion tour. He humorously asked if they’d manage to get along during the concerts. Their exchange, full of fake Mancunian accents, ended with them sharing thoughts on favorite characters from Sex in the City.
We all know Liam’s known for his fiery social media presence since the reunion news broke, even taking jabs at fans frustrated with ticket issues. He wrote on X, “OASIS are back your welcome and I hear there ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change LFUCKING x.”
Last month, he fired shots at Fontaines D.C. after they expressed annoyance about Oasis reforming. Carlos O’Connell said he didn’t care much, and Conor Deegan III found it irritating. Liam snapped back, calling them “spunkbubbles” and criticizing their style.
Reunion Details and Throwback Memories
The long-awaited Oasis reunion starts July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales. It’s been over a decade since they last performed together, despite years of denying any possibility of reuniting.
Interestingly, when asked about Oasis’s 1997 SNL appearance with Matthew Perry, Liam admitted he couldn’t remember being on the show.
