Liam Gallagher’s Bold Claims
Liam Gallagher, as usual, keeps the buzz around the Oasis reunion sky-high.
On Twitter yesterday, someone dared to ask him a question about Oasis: “Are Oasis gonna be as good as you once were because when some bands get back together they’re not as good?” His response was classic Liam, saying, “I said listen here you CUNT even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there.”
Gallagher is all about pushing the Oasis reunion forward, ignoring anyone who doubts them. Not long ago, after the big announcement, he shut down critics who didn’t like his solo gig before a boxing match, calling them imposters and offering to take their tickets off their hands if they didn’t want them.
Fans probably think Liam’s way of handling criticism is quite unique.
Once, Fontaines D.C. members weren’t thrilled about the reunion, so Liam snapped back at them, comparing their style unfavorably to a band from the past. He also disliked an SNL skit making fun of him and Noel, questioning whether the show was supposed to be funny.
In September, Gallagher joked about the ticket fiasco for the reunion shows, saying, “OASIS are back your welcome and I hear there ATTITUDE STINKS good to know something’s never change,” even noting his mom couldn’t secure a ticket.
The much-awaited Oasis tour kicks off in the U.K. next summer, followed by stops in North America, Australia, and South America.
