In a chat with Rolling Stone, Lady Gaga shared that her new song “Disease” is just the first glimpse of her upcoming album, temporarily called LG7.
Gaga explained that the song “Die With a Smile,” made with Bruno Mars, is a big part of her next album and was even nominated for Song of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards. She said, “It’s a huge part of my album,” and remembered a studio session where she played piano while Mars showed her some chords. “I don’t think he knew how much of a musician I was,” she laughed.
The album, expected in February, goes back to more classic pop vibes, showcasing her deep love for music. Gaga revealed, “The record is full of my love of music — so many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams.” The chaos in her life seems to find peace in love, as she described it.
Fans might feel that music is more than just sound; it brings people together and creates memories.
Gaga mentioned the album touches on past mistakes but ends on a positive note. Apart from “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” she’s already thinking about how the album will come to life visually, especially with her Coachella 2025 headline performance in mind.
