Kesha Credited on Pitbull’s Timber Video

Pitbull recently said, “Always nothing but love for Kesha.”

Missing Credits Mystery

Without Kesha’s memorable chorus, there’s no “Timber”! Just days after fans saw Kesha’s name missing from the credits of Pitbull’s “Timber” video, her name reappeared on the 2013 YouTube video title.

Fans’ Observations and Pitbull’s Response

Over the weekend, people noticed the song was titled just “Pitbull – Timber (Official Video).” When the problem was pointed out on Sunday, Pitbull tweeted that his team would look into it and fix it. “@KeshaRose and I have an incredible song together. Nothing will change this,” Pitbull wrote. “Team Pitbull is looking into this matter. Always nothing but love for Kesha, Dale!”

Title Correction

By Monday, the song was listed as “Pitbull, Ke$ha – Timber (featuring Ke$ha – Official Video).”

Speculations and Confusion

No one knows why Kesha’s name was initially removed. Some think it might be related to her legal issues with Dr. Luke, who worked on the song. It’s still uncertain what caused the original credit change.

Streaming Success

“Timber” remains the top-streamed song for both artists on Spotify, hitting 1.54 billion streams since its release in 2013. They still perform it during their tours.

Recent Releases

Kesha has been revisiting her early 2010s sound with “Joyride,” which Rolling Stone called one of the songs of the summer. Meanwhile, Pitbull teamed up again with Ne-Yo for “2 the Moon,” after their past hits like “Give Me Everything” and “Time of Our Lives.”

We hope the mystery behind the credit issue gets resolved soon.
