Baby Announcement
Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk have welcomed their baby boy, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, born on September 17.
On Instagram, Cobain posted three black-and-white photos. The first showed Ronin wrapped up snugly, the second had him holding his mom’s finger, and in the third, Hawk was gazing at Ronin while holding him. "Welcome to the world most beautiful son," Cobain wrote. "We love you more than anything." Hawk also shared these pictures on his Instagram, tagging Cobain and adding a warm welcome for Ronin.
Cobain used John Lennon’s song "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" in her Instagram story to accompany one of the photos. This song, written for Lennon’s son Sean, is part of the 1980 album Double Fantasy.
This baby is their first child, and the couple hadn’t told anyone they were expecting.
Cobain, daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, married Hawk, son of Tony Hawk, on October 7, 2023. Michael Stipe from R.E.M., who is Cobain’s godfather, officiated their wedding.
