Kid Cudi’s Car Fire Confirmed
A fire department report has backed up Cassie’s claim about Kid Cudi’s car being set on fire.
The report reveals that on January 9, 2012, someone used an "incendiary device" to set Cudi’s Porsche ablaze at his Los Angeles home. The blaze caused $10,000 in damages and was deemed intentional.
No suspects are mentioned in the report. A fire department official from 2012 remembers a woman reporting the fire and seeing the burnt car, which wasn’t fully engulfed when they arrived.
Fans feel deeply for Kid Cudi during this troubling time.
Cassie’s lawsuit against Combs last November claims that after she briefly dated Cudi in 2011, Combs threatened to blow up Cudi’s car. Cudi confirmed this, saying, "This is all true."
Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, stated, “There is no allegation that Mr. Combs was involved in these actions or directed anyone else to take them.â€
Recently, prosecutors hinted at the arson in court documents but didn’t name Cudi. They described how Combs’ co-conspirators supposedly torched a vehicle using a Molotov cocktail. Witnesses are expected to testify about Combs bragging about the incident.
Attempts to contact Cudi’s representatives were unsuccessful. He hasn’t said more beyond his statement to The Times last year.
The fire report doesn’t specify the Porsche model, but Cudi loves Porsches. He showcased his 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S in a YouTube video and released the song “Porsche Topless†as a single from his album Insano.
Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering and sex trafficking. While he waits for trial, he’s also dealing with multiple civil lawsuits. One recent lawsuit alleges he drugged a woman until she passed out and she would wake up with injuries and no memory of what happened. She claims this happened as recently as July.
