Last month, Adria English became the ninth person to sue Diddy, claiming he trafficked her during his White Parties in the early 2000s.
A spokesperson from Miami Beach PD confirmed that a report was filed, but said there wasn’t enough evidence for an investigation. However, TMZ reported it will be shared with federal investigators in New York.
In her lawsuit, English says she danced at Diddy’s parties from 2004 to 2009, where she alleges she was forced to drink alcohol and take drugs.
She also claims she had to have sex with guests and that Diddy praised her for it, paying her cash, including $1,000 after she allegedly slept with Jacob the Jeweler. (Rolling Stone reached out to Arabo for comment.)
English is using a New York City law, the Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act, to sue Diddy and others like Arabo and Tamiko Thomas. The law allows survivors to sue until March 2025. She’s also suing Vibe and Penske Media for using her photo without permission.
People sometimes feel overwhelmed by how many accusations come up.
Diddy’s attorney, Jonathan Davis, said, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
English’s lawsuit follows R&B singer Cassie Ventura’s similar accusations, which led to other claims from five women and one man, including a stewardess who named Diddy’s son too.
Although Diddy denies these accusations, he apologized after a video leaked showing him attacking Ventura in 2016, calling his actions “disgusting.â€
Rolling Stone’s six-month investigation found Diddy’s violent behavior dates back to his college days, with many describing him as a serial predator who used his fame and power to hide his dark side.
