Singer’s Dazzling Performance at Fashion Event
Cher wrapped up the Victoria’s Secret runway event with an amazing mix of "Believe" and "Strong Enough."
The legendary singer brought her classic charm to the recently rebooted Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She led the show, singing some of her famous tracks while the runway lit up like a disco party. As she performed, models like Gigi and Bella Hadid walked by, miming the words to her songs.
Before she hit the stage, a slideshow of Cher’s iconic fashion moments, thanks to designer Bob Mackie, played on a screen. The atmosphere was electric as a choir sang along. When Cher appeared, she started with “Strong Enough,” flanked by dancers who mirrored her hairstyle and corseted outfit.
Next, cameras showed models waiting behind the scenes before Cher moved onto a shiny platform to perform "Believe." Models then strutted the runway in red outfits, with Bella Hadid being the last to step out. The audience, filled with stars including Queen Latifah, watched eagerly.
Once Bella finished her walk and Cher exited the stage, Tyra Banks made a striking comeback, surrounded by this year’s models.
Fans can’t help but feel excited about all these big returns and surprises.
Cher’s involvement in the fashion show comes after launching her hits collection, Forever. She’s also set to release a memoir, split into two parts, with the first arriving in November. Recently, she was honored by being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with the ceremony happening soon.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was an annual event from 1995 until 2018. It was canceled in 2019 because of poor ratings and backlash over comments made by organizer Edward Razek, who criticized the inclusion of transgender and plus-sized models. He was also accused of encouraging a toxic environment, which led to his resignation.
