Charli XCX Reveals 2024 Highlights with Addison Rae and Billie Eilish

Charli XCX’s Unforgettable Year

In 2024, Charli XCX truly shone. She wrapped up the year by giving fans a peek into her exciting adventures, including a special moment with Addison Rae while working on the remix for “Von Dutch.”

Charli shared some of her favorite memories and people on Instagram, expressing gratitude and love for everyone who supported her. She ended her note with a playful apology, saying, “Sorry i’m a lot sometimes.”

Among the highlights was a unique video clip showing Charli and Rae in the studio during the creation of “Von Dutch,” where Rae’s scream became legendary. After hearing the song, Rae simply said, “Cool,” and Charli chimed in with, “Could be cute.”

People think it’s great when stars share their fun behind-the-scenes stories like this.

She also included a picture with Billie Eilish from their quirky panty party music video for the remix of “Guess.” Other snapshots featured Charli performing on a car surrounded by excited fans, hanging out with A.G. Cook and her team, dancing at the Spotify-Sweat Tour afterparty, and a distant shot from her Brat release event.

A video of Troye Sivan doing an “Apple” dance, a selfie with Shygirl, Saturday Night Live cue cards, and a candid shot with the it-girls from the “360” video were all part of her memorable collection.

One quirky moment showed Charli being pulled by an airport floor cleaner for the “Von Dutch” video. She also shared a text screenshot revealing a document titled “BRAT CONCEPTS” from 2023.

Earlier, Charli had posted about the ideas behind Brat, even before its release. She wrote, “There is no explanation for what I do. The answer is always ‘no comment,’” emphasizing the mix of high art and celebrity culture.

Her vision for the album cover was daring, predicting that it would be bold and controversial, with text-based designs that might not please everyone.

Charli ruled the year with her album, which Rolling Stone named the top album of 2024. Their review highlighted how she embraced her signature style and connected with the world through her music, exploring deep feelings and insecurities while dazzling under the lights.
