Beyoncé dropped a new music video from her project, Cowboy Carter, but with a twist.
On Election Day, she shared a visual called “Beywatch,” set to the tune of “Bodyguard” from the same album. In this video, she dresses up in iconic outfits once worn by Pamela Anderson, urging everyone to cast their vote. One of her looks features a black dress with a low neckline, knee-high boots, and mesh gloves, all inspired by Anderson’s character from “Barb Wire.” There’s also a scene where her “Barb Wire” gun shoots out the word “Vote.”
Another moment has her wearing a red bathing suit similar to the famous Baywatch one, but with a playful tweak—it reads “Beywatch.”

One more outfit in the video is taken from Anderson’s 1999 MTV Video Music Awards look, complete with a big pink fuzzy hat and shiny leggings. It wraps up with a message reading “Happy Beylloween” and ends with a reminder to “Vote” in white text on a black screen.
Fans think it’s exciting because it’s been a while since Beyoncé released a new music video. Her last ones were tied to visual albums like Black Is King and Lemonade. The standalone video before this was “Formation” back in 2015.
Recently, Beyoncé showed her support for Kamala Harris at a rally in Houston, saying, “We are at the precipice of an enormous shift. I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother.” She emphasized the importance of shaping a world that cares about freedom and unity for future generations.
She encouraged everyone to participate in the voting process, stressing its significance: “We’re all part of something much bigger. We must vote, and we need you,” she continued. “Let’s do this. Ladies and gentlemen, give a big, loud Texas welcome to the next president of the United States, Kamala Harris.”
Although she didn’t perform there, her song “Freedom” has been a soundtrack choice for the Harris-Walz campaign since the summer.
