Addison Rae Announces First Single of 2024 ‘Diet Pepsi’

Addison Rae’s new solo single, “Diet Pepsi,” is dropping this Friday.

Big Announcement

Addison revealed the release date on Monday with the cover art. She had been hinting at this song for a week on social media. Last Wednesday, she posted on X saying, “I don’t do coke. I much prefer Diet Pepsi!” and shared a video on Instagram of her writing the song’s name on a foggy car window.

First Song of 2024

This will be her first solo track of the year. Earlier, she worked with Charli XCX and A.G. Cook on a remix of “Von Dutch” from Charli’s album Brat. Addison, who got famous as a TikTok dancer, began her pop career last year with an EP named AR, featuring songs meant for a scrapped project called “the lost album.”

People always get excited about new music from their favorite artists.

Past Collaborations

Her EP included a song with Charli XCX, “2 Die 4,” and other tracks like “Nothing On (But the Radio),” “I Got It Bad,” and “It Couldn’t Been U.” Her debut single from 2021, “Obsessed,” was added as a special bonus to the Spotify version of the EP.

Acting Ventures

Addison is also trying out acting. She was in Eli Roth’s movie Thanksgiving last year and will be in the voice cast for the film Animal Friends, coming out in 2025.
